     With several years of experience working in the Law Enforcement Community along side multiple agencies and specialized units, these experiences have allowed me to excel in the fields of Officer Safety and Combative Skills Training and Development. As an International Instructor, recently presenting at the 2011 ILEETA Conference (International Law Enforcement Educators and Trainers Association), a California P.O.S.T Certified Defensive Tactics Instructor with 15 years in the Martial Arts Community training in various styles and forms, I’ve compiled an extensive knowledge base in multiple areas, and a great ability to apply “real life” practical maneuvers to “real life” situations.  

Certifications and Qualifications I’ve attained over the years include the completion of the California Department of Justice's Dignitary Security Training program, Graduate of the Center for Advanced Security Studies Dignetary/Executive Protection Immersion Course, Correctional Officer CORE program through the California P.O.S.T Academy, which includes all PC 832 Peace Officer requirements. Additionally, I’ve completed several certification trainings on the topics of Tactical Threat and Lethal Responses, Shoot House Development, Use of Force, Tactical Pistol, Rifle, and Shotgun Instructor, Weapons Retention and Disarm Instructor along with the NRA’s Instructor program for Home, Pistol, and Personal Protection to name a few.  Personal fitness completes an officer, and as an Instructor it is very important to be able to perform the task and feats that you compel your students or fellow officers to do.  Currently I am a Certified Fitness and Kettlebell Trainer. I’ve completed a Special Operations Mission-Specific Exercise Program Instructorship (SOMSEP Instructor), and I’m a certified Law Enforcement, Edged Weapons and Full Instructor in the Progressive Fighting System Method of Jeet Kune Do. 

My knowledge and skill level is kept sharp through consistent personal training based in the "Action Strength" system developed by my Sifu Harrinder Singh, and working with fellow officers within my department as a Defensive Tactics Instructor. Moreover, I train cadets at the Police Academy as an Assistant Instructor of Defensive Tactics, working as a member of specialized units, as well as professional affiliations in several Law Enforcement Associations. 

Training is a lifelong commitment that requires a dedication and tenacity towards continual self-improvement. Good simplistic methods, yield progressive increments of success, and this is the goal. Teaching the methods utilized by the best in Military and Law Enforcement Departments, the skills I've acquired are proven to be successful in the field and in competition as shown by a First place finish in the Law Enforcement Fitness Challenge at the 2010 International Law Enforcement Educators and Trainers Association Conference.  Learn from one of the best at keeping you safe when the time calls.
