I have been studying martial arts for 18 years.  I started Tactical Concepts Systems (T.C.S.) to have the freedom to pursue self defense concepts and principles in a way that allows me and my students to experiment and pressure test everything. 

This means adding scenario based training to the equation to simulate real street conditions. Techniques, drilling, and sparring are great for developing skills that will help our street application, rather than just learning a few simple moves I want to be able to learn for a lifetime.

I have studied Aikido and have attained the rank of Nidan. This led me to start looking at many different martial art systems.  Some of these include Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Filipino boxing, Wing Chun, Stick and Knife fighting.  As I starting branching out I began to see that each of these systems is useful in certain situations but not all.

Then I happened to see a video about a system of fighting called Progressive Fighting Systems. Today I am starting my journey as an  Instructor in Contemporary JKD. I also teach Tactical Aikido.

I am available for private and semi-private lessons (up to 5 people).

General class is every Sunday 10am-12pm and Wednesday 6pm-8pm Wednesday 8pm-9pm
