Monty Hendrix:
Biography:
Monty Hendrix is a multi-style martial arts instructor who owns three studios in North Carolina. He has trained in martial arts for the last 20 years and has over 17 years of teaching experience.
He is a PFS Full Instructor in Contemporary Jeet Kune Do and Philippine Martial Arts. Additonally is PFS certified in Advanced Law Enforcement and also an Edge Weapons 2 Certified Instructor.
In 2011 Monty received one of his greatest honors when Sigung Paul Vunak and Sifu Harinder Singh named him as the Descendants of the Master's United States East Coast Director.
Additionally, Monty has an extensive background in: ITF style Taekwon-Do (7th Degree Black Belt), Traditional HapKiDo (4th Degree Black Belt) and Tai Chi (Certified Teacher).
Monty is also certified "Catch" Wrestler and has several years of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu/Submission grappling experience. He is a former MMA cornerman and a former Wing Chun Study Group leader.
