Biography:
Ranil Piyaratna has been a student of physical fitness and nutrition for over 15 years. After years of strength conditioning with weights Ranil has evolved his method of training to a holistic whole body approach. He is a Senior Instructor in Action Strength™ The Timeless Art and Science of Physical Culture and is a Certified RKC kettlebell trainer.
He is also a student of the ancient healing art of Qi Gong as well the arts of Tai Chi and Cosmic Tour Bagua under Dr. Arnold Tayam.
Ranil had the privilege of starting his Martial Arts training under Sifu Harinder Singh in 2005 by first learning Karate then progressing onto Jeet Kune Do. Since then he has traveled to train with some of the best instructors in the world including Sifu Paul Vunak, Sifu Thomas Cruse, Guro Dan Inosanto, Sifu Francis Fong, Ajarn Chai, and Jean Jacques Machado. He is holds the rank of a Full Instructor in PFS and is an Edge Weapons Defensive Tactics certified instructor.
